Practical information – autumn vaccination HA De Linde 2026
The autumn vaccination campaign will soon start at our practice. This year, the Superior Health Council (SHC) recommends vaccination against influenza (flu), Covid-19, RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) and pneumococcal disease for specific target groups. Below, you will find the practical information as well as the vaccination dates and times for this year’s vaccination campaign. Further below, we also provide the target groups for each of the vaccines, so that everyone can check which vaccines they are eligible for. Practical information
- The COVID-19 vaccine is provided by our practice.
- The influenza vaccine can be obtained from the pharmacy without a prescription.
- The RSV vaccine is only available from the pharmacy with a prescription (please contact the practice for this).
- The pneumococcal vaccine is only available from the pharmacy with a prescription (please contact the practice for this).
- Book one vaccination slot per person. In the reason field, indicate which vaccine(s) you would like.
Vaccination appointments:
The Superior Health Council recommends the following vaccination periods:
- Covid-19 vaccination: from 1 October through 15 December
- Flu vaccination: from 16 October through 30 November
- RSV vaccination: preferably from 1 September through 31 October (available throughout the year)
- Pneumococcal vaccination: single vaccination

Target groups
Covid-19 vaccination
- People aged 65 and over
- People with severe chronic conditions or an increased risk of severe Covid-19
- Pregnant women with medical risk factors or a high-risk pregnancy.
- People working in the healthcare sector
Influenza vaccination
- People at risk of complications.
- During pregnancy, regardless of the stage of pregnancy.
- All eligible persons aged 6 months and over who have an underlying chronic condition, even if it is stable: heart disease (excluding hypertension), lung, liver or kidney disease, diabetes and other metabolic conditions, BMI > 35, neuromuscular disorders, haemoglobinopathies or immune disorders (natural or induced).
- All people aged 65 and over.
- People living in an institution.
- Children aged 6 months to 18 years receiving long-term acetylsalicylic acid therapy.
- People working in the healthcare sector.
- People living under the same roof as:
- People at risk referred to under point A
- Children under 6 months of age.
- All people aged 50 to 64 inclusive, even if they do not have a risk condition referred to under point A
- Professional poultry and/or pig farmers and their family members living under the same roof, as well as people who come into daily professional contact with live poultry and pigs.
- People aged 65 and over receive a high-dose influenza vaccine; please ask for this at the pharmacy.
RSV vaccination
- People aged 65 and over who have not been vaccinated against RSV during the past 3 years, with at least one of the following comorbidities:
- chronic respiratory diseases.
- chronic heart failure
- chronic kidney disease
- Diabetes.
- Obesity (BMI >= 30).
- Immunodeficiency due to disease or treatment
Pneumococcal vaccination:
- Recommended for
- adults aged 18 to 64 with risk factors:
- patients with immunosuppression (primary immunodeficiency, HIV, haematopoietic malignancies, active chemotherapy or radiotherapy, immunosuppressants, anatomical or functional asplenia, sickle cell anaemia, haemoglobinopathy)
- patients with anatomical risk factors (cochlear implant, cerebrospinal fluid leak)
- patients with comorbidities: chronic heart, lung, liver or kidney disease, smokers and people who consume alcohol, chronic neurological conditions with a risk of aspiration pneumonia, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, diabetes
- people experiencing homelessness and welders
- adults aged 18 to 64 with risk factors:
- All adults aged 65 and over, regardless of risk factors.
- reimbursed only for people aged 65 and over with at least 1 comorbidity
- Chronic heart disease, NYHA class II to IV.
- Chronic lung disease (diagnosed as asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, restrictive or interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, or the consequences of a pulmonary embolism).
- Active smoking.
- Chronic liver disease, Child-Pugh class B or C.
- Chronic kidney disease with a KDOQI score of class 3 to 5.
- A chronic neurological or neuromuscular condition associated with an increased risk of choking (aspiration).
- Diabetes.
